Charisse brings over 15 years of expertise in commercial strategy, sales leadership, and marketing execution across multiple industries, with a strong focus on healthcare and clinical consumer products. Known for driving growth through data-driven strategies and market expansion, Charisse will lead the Business Development, Marketing and Communications teams, and drive initiatives that increase market presence and highlight AST’s leadership in the life sciences industry.

With the added role of Chief Commercial Officer, AST’s own Josh Russell has transitioned into the role of Vice President, Technical Sales. As a subject matter expert, Josh has over 20 years of aseptic fill-finish and related drug product manufacturing knowledge and experience, and will leverage his industry knowledge and technical expertise to ensure product-market alignment and customer-informed solutions.

Josh will work in partnership with Charisse to continue to advance AST’s mission and commitment to the drug product manufacturing market by representing AST throughout the industry with thought leadership on intelligent, intuitive, and innovative solutions that minimize (and where possible eliminate) process, efficacy, and safety risks associated with drug product manufacturing.
