AST is pleased to welcome two new members to our business development team. Kacie Dennis (right) and Maximilian Kircher (left) joined our team last week and (literally) hit the ground running. They’re already en route to their first tradeshows with AST where, this week, Kacie will be in person at Meeting on the Mesa, and you can find Max in Italy at CPHI Worldwide.

Max’s interest in robotics and automation started early in life when, as a student, he apprenticed in the Mechatronics program for Wipotec-OCS. Now, with a career spanning over a decade in the advanced automation space, Max has been on all sides of a project, from technical servicing and engineering to project and account management. He has served customers all around the world for leading innovators in the pharmaceutical industry, including Wipotec, STÄUBLI Robotics, and now AST. At AST, Max will be an integral part of the Business Development Team and leverage his expertise to be a constant resource for customers on the latest fill-finish breakthroughs and automated advancements in aseptic processing.

When he’s not wading into crowds at tradeshows or on a call discussing the next cutting-edge development with a customer, Max likes to travel and spend time with his family.

Kacie has had a lifelong passion for medicine and patient-centered modalities. During her career in the biomedical space, she was hands-on with patients and led research teams in exploring novel technological implantation techniques. Kacie views the pharmaceutical industry as ever-evolving and sees the potential for breakthroughs and advancements around every corner, especially when it comes to cell-based therapies, and cardiac and respiratory treatments. At AST, Kacie will help lead the conversation on cutting-edge innovations within the aseptic processing industry. As a Director of Business Development, she’ll zone in on the requirements of various liquid pharmaceuticals and work directly with customers to identify the right aseptic processing solution for an operation.

When she’s not helping a customer or holding court with her coworkers on her favorite Microsoft Office hacks (she’ll tell you she likes Excel and mean it), Kacie enjoys staying active, playing pickleball or soccer with her husband, and spending time with her friends and family.

Please join us in welcoming Max and Kacie to the AST team.
